As i'm studying on the electrical side, i can say that removing your batteries will save some charge on the batteries. In simple terms, a battery that is not in the camera all the time will hold the charge longer. Do note that the charge on a battery will decrease over time, if not used. Due to electrical diffusion to the surroundings.

Anyway, Annaling looks quite pretty. Haha.:bsmilie: Kidding. Well flirting sure allows us to expand our club to having 3 sections.

A lens hood prevents flaring. A lens hood is not a must, but you can get them if wanted. I have about 2 lens hoods for my lenses. A dry cabinet is useful, but a dry box should be alright as well. Have filters for the lenses, so that any accidental damage falls on the filter and not on front element of the lens. Something like sacrificial protection.

But would the shops usually give the filters if we buy the lenses? Because they don't come cheap. How much does a lens hood usually cost?

Have you chosen your course date yet?

Not yet because I have not registered my warranty online, waiting for 3 more days to do so. I think should be going for the 19 nov one. Have you book?
