Hey everyone,
the paragraph below is what i posted in "others", hoping that u guys using 450D can recommend a bag to me, as there isn't much response in the thread i posted there![]()
"Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a backpack , that is big enough to store 4-5 lenses, 450d body, a tripod/monopod, and assessories ( wires, wallet, wired remote, etc ) , water bottle pouch and a plus if a notebook could be stored. I don't mind any of these brands: Lowepro, Tamrac, or a thinktank. Recommendation of other brands would be perfectly fine as well. It's just that i'm more well versed with Lowepro and thinktank. It would be great if you could leave a recommendation here. Also, does anyone know if it would be cheaper to buy such bags in Thailand ( real ones ) at a cheaper price? I have saved abt 300 dollars to spend on the bag, but if it's cheaper and better, i'll go for it and keep the difference for rainy days.
Thanks for reading my rather long msg!"

I don't think the successor to this camera will come late 2009 right? Seems quite a distance apart from the usual product cycle... Just wondering... Oh well thanks for any replies.![]()
I am using Lowepro flipside 300 backpack.
It should be enough to store about 3 to 4 lenses.
But notebook cannot be stored.
It is quite reasonably priced and I bought that at $130 from MS Colour.
One question that I would like to ask, why do you need to bring 4 to 5 lenses at one time?
I am a happy user with my Lowepro flipside 300.
You may consider this one if you dun need to store notebook.
does anybody know where to get the cheapest 450d kit? how much does audiohouse sell it?
Flipside series are worth considering.
I intend to use this bag for abt 2 years and for travelling - landscape, portraits, people and if i do attend any event. So i will most likely bring 4-5 lenses in the near future. i think 4 lens space would be more than enough actually.
i've got a lowepro rover AW and it can fit a 450D body.. and about 3 lenses. can hook on the tripod as well and has a mid-sized compartment at the top for all the other barang barang
so i guess to add on the notebook.. u'll be looking at the Compurover.. as that is specifically with an addition of a lappie.. but i'm not sure about the lens/cam compartment though so i can't say if it can fit ur criteria of 4-5 lenses..
also looked at crumpler before.. but IMHO, forget about it...
oh yeah i got the bag for $150 from CP-M... and my guess for the compurover is ~$200?
go down to the shop and have a feel for yourself... i would say i like the lowepro build a lot.. very nice to carry and looks tough/durable![]()
okay thanks , was considering that bag too. what's IMHO btw ?
My mum got it from some amway promotion. Used to put crackers, so next time my camera will got the biscuit smell.:bsmilie:La Vida: Where did you get your boxes? Looks nice!

Maybe no more. Because many of the pro members all want to leave the club. This club's main purpose was picture sharing, but it turned out to become a discussion portal. Most of us, transfering to Flickr. My mum got it from some amway promotion. Used to put crackers, so next time my camera will got the biscuit smell.:bsmilie:
