Nikon does not have an original battery grip for the D40 nor D60. Yes, its true that there are 3rd party but kinda hard to find locally in shops. Heard there are some in Funan and Peninsula that sell but perhaps you might wanna try amazon or ebay which stock these third party grips with brands...

Wide angle, try the Nikon 12-24 or Tokina 12-24 (great build like a tank)? Walkabout like the 17-55 try the 18-200 or 24-120 if the 17-55 is too ex or heavy?

How about the Tokina 12-24 and Sigma 10-20? They should be around the same price if not cheaper than the Nikon. Might wanna give it a look? From what I heard the the Tokina is great.

I second that, but SB-800s were also going at $400+ when they were clearing stock so if you're lucky to find some stall with it, selling it at such a price than :thumbsup: for you.

Go with either the SB-800 or the SB-600. You won't go wrong with any of them. The SB-600 does 80+% of what the SB-800 does for about $200 less. Since they are clearing stock for the SB-800 as its discontinued, you might be able to get them at a much cheaper price.
