Nothing is mention in the thread about the camera bag...

Erm... your seller, CS nickname Juice, hasn't logged into CS for one week already.
Just check his User Profile and you will be able to see that.

No need to log in to read threads.

He was supposed to pass me a Domke bag as well (which he verbally told me when we settled for the deal) - but for the benefit of adult i just take it that was too busy and was unable to respond to my calls and messages.

I apologize if i seem like a fussy prick but I believe that one should hold up to his principles and promises...

Thanks for sharing. I think it reaffirms to need to pay for what you collect during the deal... There's really no room for "benefit of the doubt" when it comes to some1 you have never dealed/seen before. Sellers present the stuffs as said, buyers present the $$ as agreed to keep matters simple.

Actually, I think im being quite soft here lah. But I just listen to what he say loh, for the benefit of the doubt! (not adult) **corrected by daredevil** (even though sometimes i feel like laughing to myself, lol)

My friends knows his girlfriend. It's a small world and trust me Singapore IS VERY small. I'm sure i can find his address easily with a few phone calls if I want to, unless he wants to migrate far away. So, its really up to him lah if he tries to play punk with me, I just hope he makes the right decision.

Likewise, I could also lodge a police report on the basis of my saved SMSes which I also forwarded to my friend as referee and ask the moderators on this forum for the thread of which he posted his ad claiming his camera to be on 4 months warranty + in condition 9/10 (which was a complete lie after i checked). Tracking back our exchanged telephone conversations for incidents such as this would be simple so long as a police report has been made.

The odds for him to try and run without being further damaged is seriously low lah. over this kind of money, im sure he wouldnt want to bring his family name down, or affect his personal life and all his personal relationships - be it his girlfriend or his workplace.. etc.

I'm just seriously puzzled that there are actually such personalities hiding around in this world...scares me to think seriously. Anyway, he(Justin) might be reading this right now at this very moment but i'll just be open lah.. i got nothing personal against him, this is strictly business. I'll do what I want and say what I deserve to say, with a clear conscience. Feel free to speak otherwise, if you object.

In first place, he shouldn't have tried his luck to sell me nor anyone else a faulty camera- you know in life sometimes you can be shrewd, you can be smart, you can be cunning.. BUT without integrity -the rest will kill you-

Anyway, seriously appreciate your responses guys, for all the advices and comments, whatsoever made. Cheers to all those of you out there who choose to stand up against cheaters and never back down till justice's been made :thumbsup:

just ask him to pay full refund for the camera, anyway, do u have the link to his BnS for that camera u bought? u said it is faulty and out of warranty when he claimed that it is still under 4mnths warranty, rite? that itself can be considered as cheating. u have the right for a full refund no matter spectacular his side of story is.

sue him and ask him to pay all the court expenses since he is the wrong one! ;)
misleading information and scams are punishable offense under law...

I am always amazed how everyone thinks it is so easy to sue someone and win because you have some conversations. There is always a chance you might not get the full value back. And I can guarantee you court charges are usually not attributed to the losing party. Even if you go through with Small Claims Court, you can incur around 100+ in fees, and most probably, the court will order the defendant to pay the plantiff the amount owed and nothing more.

Question to fudoushin: Do you have that $500 in hand already? Or is it another promise? Also, I will not send him a SMS for black and white. I will draft a black and white for him to sign, with verification of NRIC number, address and phone number. That, my friend, is a proper black and white. In the meantime get the camera into CSC to get a quote. Pray hard it does not cost more than $500.

Another option is to look for Bro Fatigue. My brother's D70s suffered a problem with the CF card reader. Nikon quoted 190 to fix. I got it done for very very much less by Fatigue, who replaced the entire PCB board with connector with a new Nikon original part. Problem is, Fatigue is flooded with requests nowadays, and he only does this part time. So get the quote from CSC first. If Justin Yeo (Juice) skipped bail, use the bail money to fix the problem. And if you get Fatigue to do it, you might save even more. Consider it a discount for the lack of warranty.

Funny, looking at his facebook, and his GF's facebook, I realized my friend knows her too. Just that she works for him. ;)

But seriously, getting the GF involved is not wise and not right. It is her misfortune but not her fault that her BF is an lying cheat.

really small world indiid

anyway, really must bring back iTrader

Justin Yeo is not poor. He lives in East Coast, family owns a few cars. Dad has a kick for Imprezas. He works in a studio with two other photographers, though I'm not sure if he still has a job with them.

TS.. have you get back your full refund??

The camera is at Canon CSC right now for checking. I will make a decision to allow them to service and change faulty parts if it is inexpensive and keep the extra money to buy my cables/software/whatever or else I will be meeting Justin for a full refund.

I reckon I'll most probably expect a full refund instead. Will update this thread again.

Cheers

you don't have be logged into your CS account to be able to view threads/posts.

how does that help?

moderators don't have superpowers and no legal authority.

of cos no superpowers but i'm certain they can and will check on those dubious clone accounts so as to help prevent cases whereby a seller who is using account A to sell and yet create account B to jack up the price of his own ware, etc. etc.

Since his family so 'rich' then ask his family for $$$ lo. Till now still haven't settle with TS doesn't say much abt his integrity.
