wonder how to inform the other users this affected battery but do not come to CS....

poor thing if one day they go shooting and come back and then find that their cameras MELT...... and have no idea what went wrong.....

that's why all camera users should come and join CS.....

if the camera is still under warranty / not under warranty, will nikon replace a new camera?

well, that means your battery is not affected, isn't that good? i hate going down to the service centre as it is inconveniently located for non-drivers :(

Better to exchange. You can get new battery (especially if you own the battery for more than 1 year), and the new battery is actually for D200 (for D50 or D70, bigger capacity somemore: 1400mAh --> 1500mAh) :bsmilie: .

Unlucky me...

Arto.

sounds good  if only they operate after office hour (which i always think is more logical)

Opps.....just saw this. Time to check batteries.

But the service centre is pretty inaccessible. Bus 63 takes such a looooong time if you miss one. sigh..

Actually, can take quite a lot of bus along bukit merah road
drop about 1 bus stop after the old SAFRA bukit merah and walk up the slight (hmmz) slope. hehe. Been there once many years to collect freebies for my coolpix. now, need to go and change battery. Bus 147, 197, 196, 14, many others.

tltan

well, they are working in the service industry, even the M1 customer service in Compass Point opens till 9pm. the technicians may not need to work so late, at least keep the front counter open for people to send in their equipment, that'll be real service. and i really think they should relocate to somewhere more central :(

On the webby where you key in the serial number, the address stated that NCS open til 7pm.

Anone been there after 5pm ?

Its only 10min walk from red hill MRT station but have to go upslope.
