I am so unlucky, all my 4 batteries start with number "2" or "3", no recall.

Hi guys, I using EN-EL3 serial is 46AL, its also affected. Mine is bought with D50 kits set. Haiz....:cry:

just went there and exchanged for an EN-EL3e.
they dont have EN-EL3a. i was told that 3e was better.(at least got the upgrade capability:sweat: )
(wow, it is gray color, made in JAPAN. and now easy for me to distinguish it from my another 3a which is out of power in future shoot...)

better call nikon before going.

Thanks. I just found it too... Very unlucky. I suppose i have to take it out from my camera for sometime before i can get it exchanged due to my busy schedule lately. Any advice if i leave my camera without any batt for 2 weeks ++?

no much effect. i took the battery out from cam for 3 weeks, and nothing lost, settings/time still there...i think the internal battery can last at least one month.

yup...the extra pin port has nothing to do with D70/70s/50, only for high-end D200 use. but EL3e is compatible for all these cameras.

i like the gray color...

he will take down your name/phone number/battery lot number/and ask the time you are coming, seems like "order", no need to Q outside, go to the inner room directly.

Opps.....just saw this. Time to check batteries.

But the service centre is pretty inaccessible. Bus 63 takes such a looooong time if you miss one. sigh..
