It does not matter what camera you use, just as long as it can take pictures.
That is what you are going there for, right?
Totally agreed with ortega. Go there to meet ppl & have fun!

to catchlights:

it's ok lah, we all overlook things now and then, after all we are not computers, neither are we 100% sure of how computers operate :)

to sumball:

Hi ilovehouse,
Maybe once u confirm ur work schedule, then we can work out a way to direct u to Punggol.
U can jus park at any HDB carpark near the bus stop.

Good morning to everyone,
Maybe meet at 6.30am, and be at location A at 6.50am is a bit to late to shoot the sunrise, I wake up about 6.20am and notice that is just the best time to start shooting sunrise, anyway, just now can’t see a nice sunrise, the cloud to thick liao. :dunno:

So malu! :embrass: Hahaha! :bsmilie:

Maybe it would be easier to meet at punggol plaza food court
for those who are not sure of how to go there.

I am not sure what time the free bus starts,
but you can catch it from punggol MRT and SengKang MRT.
Anyone who lives near Punggol Plaza? Please post the info here.

If the meeting place is at the bus stop, there might be some confusion on which bus stop you are refering to.

Meeting at the Punggol Plaza is nice, but more walking distance to point A, don’t think Free Shuttle Service 168 start so early, but SBS sure have, and also from what I observe this morning, 6.50am shooting sunrise maybe to late, can someone confirm this also? :dunno:

Are you gonna pass by Bukit Gombak area ;p I need a ride to get there for the sunrise shootout, otherwise I cannot catch up with the first group lah :(

Or anyone else able to give me a lift ;)

Cheers!

From AMK, you can take CTE - SLE -TPE, exit at TPE EXIT 9, left turn into Punggol Road, right turn at 1st cross junction into Punggol Field, go straight pass thru two cross junction, Punggol Plaza is Blk 168 on you lelf, I think parking still free.

Or you can take AMK Ave 5, (toward Hougang) Buangkok Green (Pass Woodbridge Hospital), Sengkang East Road, pass TPE flyover, right turn into slip road of TPE, keep left and left turn, than you enter Punggol 21 liao.

Hope this help. :)

one more route is via AMK ave 3, follow through Hougang ave 2, turn left at junction with Upper Seranggon Road, follow through Punggol East via the new flyover, you'll find location 'X' here http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/map.jsp?masterID=124878&postal=820166&building_name=Multi%20Storey%20Car%20Park&road_name=Punggol%20Central&house_blk_no=166&heading=Multi+Storey+Car+Park&x=37150.38&y=41877.75&&x=37150.38&y=41877.75&level=7&iconlist=star1,37150.38,41877.75;&star=1&clickMap=0&clickX=37191.55&clickY=41833.33 so actually you can consider parking at the carpark block 166, accessible from Punggol Central entry

Best route with road signs (can't go wrong)

Take the CTE towards SLE, exit at TPE exit 9,
pass Jln Kayu exit (or go ealier and have prata),
after that you will go over a bridge,
just after the bridge there will be 2 exits one after the other,
take the 2nd exit to punggol,
keep left (right goes back to the TPE)
go uphill and turn left at the traffic light.
After that keep right and turn right at the next traffic light,
then go straight pass 2 more traffic lights and keep left,

Congratulations you are there.
And just for making it there,
the prize is FREE parking!!!!

ermmn..... is it still FREE, can someone confirm?

i don't drive, but i think weekend parking at the HDB multi-storey carparks
has been converted to free parking just 2 or 3 months back ... i can ask my dad tonight and get back, if not any drivers around this place knows?

Can park at there.

oh yah hor... i think parking there is still free, i can check out tomorrow to confirm. anyway this is the location, of punggol plaza, http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/map.jsp?masterID=124880&postal=820173&building_name=&road_name=Punggol%20Field&house_blk_no=173&heading=&x=36867.98&y=41810.3&&x=36867.98&y=41810.3&iconlist=star1,36867.98,41810.3;&star=1&level=6 so parking there means need to walk abit to get to location 'X' ... i don't recommend meeting at punggol plaza for morning shoot as it's abit too far to walk to location 'a' ... no worries everyone, location 'X' isn't as complicated as you think, it's the only busstop along punggol east.
