Malaysia Airlines plane missing...

Just something I'm doing as a part for my thesis, for those whom are interested may want to goggle up on Dr. John Piña Craven. He was the chief scientist of the United States Navy's (USN) Special Projects Office (SPO) from 1958 to 1970, having won two Distinguished Civilian Service Award for numerous achievements with some still remaining classified "Top Secret" to this day and during which time, he was an instrumental figure in the development of the Bayesian search theory and the physical implementation of it leading to the unprecedented recovery of the missing Russian Navy (Red Banner Pacific Fleet) Project 629A diesel-electric powered submarine (SSK) K-129 and both the United States Navy (USN) nuclear-powered attack submarines (SSNs) USS Thresher (SSN-593) and USS Scorpion (SSN-589) which all sank mysteriously down to the dark, deep abysses of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans with the lost of all hands.

The Bayesian search theory will later be a key paramount usage in crucial applications leading to the recovery of a B28 (Mark 28) thermonuclear bombs lost in the Mediterranean Sea after a Boeing B-52G Stratofortress strategic bomber and a Boeing KC-135A/BN tanker collided during an aerial refuelling now known as the Palomares "Pinnacle - Broken Arrow" Incident. And also in the recent Air France (AFR) Flight 447 (AF447) accident.

If the plane flew back over West Malaysia, the air force should have scrambled.
If they did, they would visually identify that it was a MAS airliner.

The air force chief said they did not scramble because it was a civilian aircraft and not foreign military.

They would not know it was civilian. There was no radio contact . Transponder turned off.
Anyway, even if they knew it was a MAS airliner, it was way off course and the MLY air force would have sensed something wrong.

The mixup and confusion past few days may have arisen because parties were trying to protect their own vested interests.

by right, any unidentified contact has to be checked out by fighter jets asap, this is the standard job of an air force.

People overlooked this incident happened at wee hour...operator on duty could be dozing in front of terminal or eating snake at some corner...how could they miss a 777 jet if they are capable of detecting a F16 or even a scud missile?

night shift very siong de..

probably stopped to refuel on the way to Iran

the 2 Iranans on stolen passports seemed to be cleared of suspicion VERY QUICKLY ... in fact TOO QUICKLY almost same day ..... his mother said son using stolen passport to defect to Germany ..... so easy to believe ?

this is now machiam like a Jason Bourne sequel or a Tom Clancy thriller

so many conspiracy theories now

coffee shop talk is that the Americans knew all along that plane was hijacked to Iran or to be crashed at Osama's sea burial site as a sacrificial tribute and that the Malaysian team has been convinced to play dumb/incompetent all along as a charade wayang to give the enemy false confidence and to buy time for US agents to get all necessary assets in place for a counter-move

how else can you explain the total apparent absolute bungling of Malaysian authorities and smoke screens of refuting this and that and conflicting statements ..... deliberate smoke screen of confusion and misinformation while the scene is readied for some sort of rescue effort ? Using Bomoh Rajah was a good decoy come to think of it

US analysts said that plane could have flown (west) an EXTRA 5 HOURS ....... southern Iran ?

Agree they need to look again at the two.
Mohamed Atta (Egyptian)also had a mother waiting for him. He even studied in Germany. So? He was involved in 911.

The Thai travel agency said the Iranian middleman contact who asked them to buy tickets for the two to Europe refused to reply when first offered tickets via another airline/route.

But with stringent checks at airports/boarding gates nowadays (assuming KLIA has good security) it is hard to get concealed weapons on airplanes.
If there were terrorists, then not sure how they managed to get weapons on the airplane.

CNN Exclusive: Analysis shows two possible Indian Ocean paths for airliner

I like it how carefully he phrased it:
However, Bob Francis, a former National Transportation Safety Board official, is one of several experts who have questioned how Malaysian authorities have handled the situation.

"The Malaysians are not doing a superb job of running this investigation," he said. "And they apparently give you some information, and then they withhold information. How much are they relying on and listening to the Europeans and the NTSB who are there with more expertise? I don't know, but I think you know we've got a mixture of a very strange situation that happens to be in an environment, a regulatory environment, that really isn't capable or isn't running an investigation the way it should be run."
In short: SNAFU.

or maybe Pakistan?

This is probably the most plausible.20 high tech employees of Freescale that have plants in KL and china was on the passenger list and an assortment of vested interests passengers on board.
Expect a major announcement by Malaysian authorities in 2 days time. The name is Bond 007,sounds familiar? This info has been around as early as 5 days ago.

""It has to be a skilled, competent and a current pilot," the official said.

"He knew how to avoid the civilian radar. He appears to have studied how to avoid it."

if the intention was to crash it might as well done it over South China Sea and no point detouring and doing manouvers avoiding civilian radar

just pray hard that the passangers and crew are held hostage but ALIVE in a foreign country not friendly to the US

if only the Malaysian Air Force had scrambled their fighter jets to that airspace during "that few minutes of disappearance" from radar, by right it should.
