usually the 1st batch of electronic goods confirm+guarantee got bugs and probs one right?

should i wait for a later batch or....?

i really dunno.

and if i get the body from japan, will NSC cover the warranty?

depends... the D200's banding problem wasn't really an initial glitch cause even later production models still had banding..

even if there's bugs n sw probs..there's no guarantee that nikon will do something about it,right?classic eg,sb800 with it's flashing prob when mounted with d200.nothing was done on nikon side n still many of us buy the cam+flash.i say just buy the cam.i'm going to pre order my d300.

as for the shrunken t shirts comments...
as long as the t shirt do what it's meant to do,over sized or shrunken makes no diff..lol.
