C n C welcome~

I think you can go with a bit more exposure. It still will retain the detail in the sky, while ensuring foreground stuff is not underexposed. It will also bring out the blue in the sky more. Right now even the sky is underexposed.

Anyone can recommend me some cheap canon lens, for street and scenery photog.

Street photography usually entails a short working distance. Most people prefer a prime because on the street, light changes very quickly, and you may find yourself in unusually dim situations, and you may want to shoot with available light.

Scenery photography, I take it, would mean landscaping? Unfortunately, you may not find that one lens does both.

My cheap would be lesser than $500.. 50mm is for street arhs.. My friend say for portrait..

50mm is nice on the streets. For street portraits it can be used, though most people would prefer a shorter focal length.

With regards to 50mm being exclusively for portrait, that's a very narrow mindset to adopt. You can use a single focal length for a myriad of purposes.

I would agree that the 50mm f/1.8 is better suited for potrait shots. I find that the EFS 55-250mm is quite a good for street and landscape...just this morning most of my shots were with the 55-250mm.

I am somewhat against using a long lens for street photography. I think street photography should also have you close up to the subject, interacting with him/her. That is the whole thrill and risk that you play in street photography.

I personally use a 35mm f/2 for street photography. On my camera, it resembles that of a normal lens. Here are some examples of street photography. I daren't say they're exceptional, but they bring across the idea of what street photography should be somewhat like:

Actually, I do see the benfits to a short focal lenses for street and very good captures can be gleemed from being really up close and personal with your subjects. :) Your photos are good examples.

But for some others, the long lens can also acheive up close and personal shots without getting too close...in the October issue of Digital SLR magazine, there were also very good street shots taken with 70-200mm lens. I suppose like all genres of photography, it would depend on what you want to achive in the end.

Here is my example of a candid street shot I took this morning in Little India with my 55-250mm:-

I got the Fancier model FT6662A..I wanted the Benro A500 but was told that the locks on the legs tend to break a lttle too easily if you twist it the wrong way.
