Nice shots!!

i also took some quick shots today before work.... havent pixel peep yet... hope it turns out nice.... Today's morning weather was superb

btw.... what LCD protectors are u guys using? where to purchase? incl installation?
Thanks!

Daiso got the 3" LCD protector.

Daiso got the 3" LCD protector.
But its not good. If you guys want i can get you original japanese LCD screen protectors - cut to size nicely for a 450D(Cut by me). Comes in 4.3inches. You can use it for your PSP as well. It's a very protected LCD screen protector. Not like daiso's screen protectors. Because there is no film for the outer side, it's usually scratched in the packaging. Mine has 2 sides protection. The sticky side, and none sticky side. Price is $2.50, But if i have many orders, might push it to $2. Also i need to check if i have stock as well. Haha.

Actually I have also ordered one from CS MO.
Most likely, I think that I might be able to get that by this weekend.
Time to buy a new camera bag as the free one is too small for me already with that BG.

Got it @ ebay from hongkong. cheaper than CS MO. comes with 2 batt. waited for 7-8 days. was fast. i suppose the post office over there and here are quite efficient. as it is by registered mail so i can trace where the good are now. this is second purchase from the same supplier already.

Tamron 17 - 55 f2.8 2nd hand around 540 there abouts.

17-50 u mean. great len!

Managed to have sometime to fully try out the 50D today. One word. Awesome. Really good camera. I tried out the camera without the irritating safety/theft lock thingy attached to the table.:bsmilie:

The show booth guy let me handle it without the lock. The camera has a nice weight. Really nice screen with accurate colour display:bigeyes:. FPS is good. Sounds like a machine gun. Haha. Auto focus is fast. Very good camera in all. But only thing is 18-55mm kit lens, makes the camera look a little odd. The lens is too small for the camera body.:sweatsm: I think a 17-55mm will complement it well.

Nice camera, but with an expensive price tag. Worth the buy? Not too sure. But worth having one.

Oh,ic.
Just a bit no confidence to get from ebay.
So, I choose to buy that from CS MO.
I have gotten it today evening and tried 5 mins just now.
It really improves the handling so much.
Charging the extra 2 batteries now.
Next target is EFS55-250mm lens.

all these just my personal opinion. still a noob in photograpghy.

BTW I am also looking for some light weight yet strong tripod below 1.5kg with ballhead and below $100. Is there any other recommendation? something like Benro A-500EX or Fancier FT6662A.

Anyone is interested to buy 2 weeks old 50D?
My boss wants to sell his 50D and he got it free from Photomarathon this year.
Not yet registered and it has less than 200 shoots only.
PM me if interested.

I would agree that the 50mm f/1.8 is better suited for potrait shots. I find that the EFS 55-250mm is quite a good for street and landscape...just this morning most of my shots were with the 55-250mm.:)

But is it expensive? The 55-250mm, i want go IS also.

Fell asleep yesterday.:o

new lens cost around 360 for 55-250...

Like Sohwayne mentioned, price is about the $360-350 range so it's quite a good price...check around the stores. :)
