Thanks :) ... look forward to seeing your morning shots. You are right, this morning the weather was good.. just the right amount of cloud cover and golden sun.

Correct me if I am wrong...but I read some where that our 450D already has a bulit in LCD protector already right? That is why the LCD screen is a hard clear plastic so any laminate protection is actually protecting the protector?:dunno:

hey guys...do you think you can help me look at this tripod and give me some opinions if you think its a good buy?

i rather you buy a slik or benro. lol

I agree with Eleveninth, better stick with the better know brands..I myself am looking at the Benro A500.

C n C welcome~

Managed to have sometime to fully try out the 50D today. One word. Awesome. Really good camera. I tried out the camera without the irritating safety/theft lock thingy attached to the table.:bsmilie:

The show booth guy let me handle it without the lock. The camera has a nice weight. Really nice screen with accurate colour display:bigeyes:. FPS is good. Sounds like a machine gun. Haha. Auto focus is fast. Very good camera in all. But only thing is 18-55mm kit lens, makes the camera look a little odd. The lens is too small for the camera body.:sweatsm: I think a 17-55mm will complement it well.

Nice camera, but with an expensive price tag. Worth the buy? Not too sure. But worth having one.

Looks good...alot of "firce" clouds :) but it somehow seems small maybe because there is alot of sky?

hehe dunno? kit lens at 18mm.....

jus tot that the hdb are too dark.... but if the hdb are bright , the orangy colour ard the sun will be whitish.....

Maybe...having some shadows or shilottes can be quite good effects too. Nevermind, maybe another day another try? :)

Anyone can recommend me some cheap canon lens, for street and scenery photog.

My cheap would be lesser than $500.. 50mm is for street arhs.. My friend say for portrait..

I would agree that the 50mm f/1.8 is better suited for potrait shots. I find that the EFS 55-250mm is quite a good for street and landscape...just this morning most of my shots were with the 55-250mm.:)

Its the EFS 55-250mm. Not 50-250mm.
