yup, looking forward to more fun, especially having the opportunity to team up with my pal (full time photog under a reputable studio) for events and weddings.. maybe this month there might be one he may ask me to help out. good experience if I can be there![]()

Nope... but the weight increase is very significant
U'll get used to it over time.
Let him play with a 1D series.. I guarantee he will be NOT used to 5D series without grip ;p

I went down to Sim Lim Sq, Alan Photo. Asked for the grip and they said there is available but grey set. Cost is $380, no more local set...
