Canon BG-E11

yup, probably just change to a better neck strap like Crumpler's or use a sling system etc to better distribute the weight. ;)

I'm using the Crumpler Industry Disgrace on my 5D.

I do not want to try handling a 1D body cos I know it is like DRUGS.......... once you touched it, you will be HOOKED for life!!!!!!!!!!

agree...i "downgraded" to 5D3 after using 1D, 1D MKII and 1Ds MKII for more than 5 years!!

It is a ok strap......... but if you are packing, I find it too bulky....

No leh, i never find it bulky at all and it's a very comfortable strap.

I wonder will the tripod screw of the grip give way as I'm using Black Rapid R3 with the following gears 24-70mm + 5D MK III + grip fully loaded. Wonder will that 1 screw support the whole weight as its not a single piece? Cannot afford if the whole thing come crashing on the floor. Anybody tried this combo with Black Rapid?

It will be as strong as the body since it is magnesium alloy

Anyone encountered any issue with the grip? My grip suddenly can't trigger the shutter. Can only focus when I press the button. :(

my grip can't recognize/read my 3rd party battery, i think it's normal

You are using the original Canon grip or 3rd party grip?

Sad to hear you got a lemon set. If yours is a local set just send it in to CSC for service. Or some shops provide 1 to 1 exchange within 7 days if the items is faulty.

That's sad to hear. Try bringing it to CSC and feedback to them that their newly launched product is faulty, maybe they can fix for free, IDK.

Yup. Will bring down to them to fix it and feedback to them. Hopefully no charges occur.

bigger dry box solves the problem ;p

No... I mean as in packing into a bag, and it does take a bit of space, if you compare it to the Think Tank strap... but that has little padding, and is not so comfortable if you use for long time......

Hi Pal, not to worry I am using Black Rapid R7 with the loading of my mark III with grip, speedlite 580 II on and 70-200 IS II on and also did try to test with Sigma 50-500 on and still it swing well. Trust the brand Black Rapid not to worry.. Cheers..

for a 5k camera&grip + expensive lense and speedlight, i won't ever risk it. use additional strap attached to the camera and your rapid strap just in case the screw breaks or come loose.

bros...stock still limited? and best price so far and where?
