yup, looking forward to more fun, especially having the opportunity to team up with my pal (full time photog under a reputable studio) for events and weddings.. maybe this month there might be one he may ask me to help out. good experience if I can be there

Agree with that. Tried handling the 1D series and it's hefty! But still, if one uses it after some time, will also get used to it.

yup, probably just change to a better neck strap like Crumpler's or use a sling system etc to better distribute the weight.

I went down to Sim Lim Sq, Alan Photo. Asked for the grip and they said there is available but grey set. Cost is $380, no more local set...

doesn't matter. battery grip no warranty.

It is normal........ with 2 batteries, heavier....

But once you are hooked to it, you will be alright... and you have stronger arms too!!!!

Agree with that. Tried handling the 1D series and it's hefty! But still, if one uses it after some time, will also get used to it.

I do not want to try handling a 1D body cos I know it is like DRUGS.......... once you touched it, you will be HOOKED for life!!!!!!!!!! :sweat:
