yup, looking forward to more fun, especially having the opportunity to team up with my pal (full time photog under a reputable studio) for events and weddings.. maybe this month there might be one he may ask me to help out. good experience if I can be there :D

Alan is smart, all hide under table.. but at least they don't become black market like some evil shops!

erm, you add weight of cos become heavy lah~
 

Let him play with a 1D series.. I guarantee he will be NOT used to 5D series without grip ;p

Agree with that. Tried handling the 1D series and it's hefty! But still, if one uses it after some time, will also get used to it. :)

yup, probably just change to a better neck strap like Crumpler's or use a sling system etc to better distribute the weight. ;)
 

I went down to Sim Lim Sq, Alan Photo. Asked for the grip and they said there is available but grey set. Cost is $380, no more local set...

doesn't matter. battery grip no warranty.

It is normal........ with 2 batteries, heavier....

But once you are hooked to it, you will be alright... and you have stronger arms too!!!!

I do not want to try handling a 1D body cos I know it is like DRUGS.......... once you touched it, you will be HOOKED for life!!!!!!!!!! :sweat:
