wah..sis u really have a good taste !! ducati ..nice bike!

bro lsisaxon, bring sis jeanie to test drive ur new potential car...she sure know what to test! :sweatsm:

seriously, i dunno bikes.
but when i saw the ducati in the movie matrix, i soooooooo fell in love with it.
(is that a ducati?)

yes.inclusive of COE.
and every model they sell, they up $1k.

i agree with your second sentence,
BUT

nothing beats s204 stock for stock, cc for cc.
not to mention it's street legal.

of course lah, but u buy and keep as stock?

got COE included?

anyway, S204 no resale value 1... its just a more souped up WRX STI...

btw, nowadays, cars hardly have any resale value.
be it a vios or ferrari.

once you drive it, you want to sell it, you will lose like s....

lsi,

seriously, at 60k budget, there's only so many models you can look at.
take away those poorly reviewed, minus the unreliable makes from 3rd world countries, you really aint left with much choice.

good luck.
;)

I thought so too.. After this entire exercise, it seems like I'm narrowing down to the new vios. I think the space is better than the old vios, so I think the baby seat should be ok. My baby is going 6 month soon, so it will be quite soon the baby seat can face the front.

Since I only got my licence yesterday, they will need to recalculate the insurance as well.. It's going to be more expensive but I think I've got to start somewhere also if I want to get into this... :dunno:

I've got mixed comments from colleagues, most of them thinks having a car is convenience and a matter of whether it's affordable and within my means, so it's pretty much my choice.

Latest news is that the COE just went up by 4k. :(

ki chia... lol...

$30 a trip?seriously, so ex???
sorry, i havent been taking cabs.what's the hop in rate nowadays?

In heavy traffic, the meter jumps faster. Many taxi drivers told me I should get a car. Home in the east, office in the west... That's why so expensive.

consider finding greener pastures.
though i know you told me your field hard to find.(i remember ok?:))

well, good luck.all the best in your search for wheels.

i dont see ERP as a problem.
it all boils down to how early you willing to wake up.

i've never had to pay ERP to go to work.
in fact, i pay ERP to go shopping.
darn...

I found greener pastures, but the mor difficult to go location is still my wife's workplace. I was intending to drive her to work then go to office. Hers will still be in the west, mine will be north... Doesn't sound like a good arrangement.. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a licence.. Initially, I was thinking since my office is further west, I can drop her off if I get a car................ now, hmm.... I really have to rethink about the situation when I start work in the new place. Another option is to get her to change job also.. ;p

i understand your situation.

in this case, you must really get a economical car.
the mileage you chalk up, best you also find a make that offers longer warranty.3 years?

That's why FC is right on top of my priority.. With the rising fuel prices, I reckon I'll break even the price difference between a slightly cheaper car (Lancer GLX, Cerato, Rio) and a slightly more expensive but more fuel efficient car (Vios) in no time.. ;p

I'd have to admit the AWD Impreza 1.6 is tempting. ;p

Drop and pick her up some where in the middle where she can get a direct bus/mrt to work  Saw some are doing that.
