Only black, chrome still short.

We all know the blacks take better images. :p

Seriously, it alternates between shipments. 1st batch mostly chrome, 2nd the other way, repeat cycle.

Given their association with Panasonic, there have been some suggestions it might be a M43.

But it's any body's guess at this moment.

My guess X with fixed aperture zoom. So APSC sensor, fixed lens zoom.

I do not believe Leica will release a M mount FF mirrorless cam as remoured.
It will only cannibalise the M from a product and business perspective.

Delivering a APSC sensor fixed zoom lens is no where ground-breaking for Leica.

Why doesn't Leica focus in delivering Ms in numbers and provide promised accessories to customers rather than try to tease customers with new products so often but yeat cannot deliver in numbers....poor business decision!

I was told the Mini M will not be ground breaking. Then again my source could be lying.

When they launched the M I spoke to a couple of the Leica engineers and they let slip that they were working on a 28 Summilux and a X with zoom. So I am assuming this will be the X they were talking about.

dont know what happens to my M, Solms had delivered it to Leica Singapore last week, but no delivery to myself up until today. :(

70mm at F/6.4. !!!! Low light sure die (without flash).

Leica Singapore must be cleaning your sensor very slowly before calling you to tell you your camera is ready for collection.

Here is the situation from what I was told by Germany.

Leica Germany is so swamped with the recall that they are only taking the camera apart to fix the lugs. Everything else like sensor cleaning and rangefinder alignment has been passed off to the regional service centers with the facilities to do it.

So when it says shipped to SG, there is still work that needs to be done here in SG and rangefinder alignment is a real PITA.

Well if you are happy to leave your camera with Leica for long is fine.
These are all new cameras, I'm puzzled why sensor cleaning and rangefinder alignment is a must unless the particular unit has that specific compliant. I asked for shipment tracking number and Solms provided me one when my camera left Solms. I call Leica SG to check against shipment tracking status after it arrived and Leica SG was so nice they provided me my camera the next day after my camera sensor was cleaned. It took Leica SG less than 2 days turnarround time after the shipment arrived.

RF alignment I suspect also involves alignment of the sensor plane.

Just gotten my M yesterday.
Everything was perfect except the following:

1) Flickering frame lines. Did any bro or sis here notice it? Does not matter white or red frame lines. There is definitely visible flickering. Is this normal?
2) Shutter click sound when you turn the camera on or off. Is this correct? Sounds like the shutter blades are moving.
3) Slow start up... almost 5s... Is it suppose to be so slow?

1) No flickering
2) Only when LV is on.
3) Not 5s maybe 3s
