Thoughts on LEICA M ?

I, too ordered a RSS grip online today. Given up waiting for the stupid Leica handgrip.
It should serve me the required grip when I change over to my R zoom and tele lenses.

Most dealers seem to have black M240 in stock.

Had to send my M to Solms today for calibration. Grr, vertical and horizontal misalignment! Strange why it can't be done in the local Leica service center.

After the recent "inability to clean my M9 sensor", I am wondering if they are just bloody conservative and afraid of undertaking difficult tasks. In the end, they just pass the buck back to HQ.

Yes, hope I don't have to wait too long. Also realised that I don't have any digital cameras other than Leica M, only Iphone now! So back to film, which feels great too.

Both misaligned! Is that from the drop?
Hopefully it doesn't misalign on it's way back here! How did you pack it?

No, but I went horse riding with the camera on a blackrapid strap. No drops but a lot of bouncing >.<
Leica Singapore sent it to Solms for me.

I can confirm that, both the GPS grip and the normal grip has already arrived or will be arriving in the next few days.

Wow thank you to both, I finally am happy to finally got hold of the Leica multifunctional handgrip!

As normal, no finger loop and sac cable & flash attachment available yet.

Yeah, cost 5 times of my RSS hand grip,...which is now redundant!

The finger loop is available but the 14498 SCA kit has yet to arrive in SG.
Anyway, the MF handgrip provided a PC Syn contact for me to trigger wireless off camera flash.
In the pics below, RF focusing on my wife and daughter was not possible due to the low and back light of sunset scene. The EVF was employed for precise focusing when I positioned my camera low down almost touching the floor.
