I see that the lens is in good hands.
From shallow DOF isolation to detailed landscapes, very nice use of this lens.
I have been waiting to use this lens on digital ff ever since I got it from you..luckily it never disappoint me despite being the so called 'weakest' of the FA* lenses
haha..time to get a k1 to mount your FA*24?

I think its whatever secret sauce Pentax uses for the older lenses.
Even the Samyang 14/2.8 is better on the K1.
I have an impression that the K24/2.8 is also better, but I will look over what I taken yesterday with it to confirm.

Took the K1 and DA*300 for some random shots this morning. The combo is very well balanced for handheld shooting...

Ah F50 1.4...... one of the lens i wanted to have.. nice that you own it! do post more shots with it.. hee.

The hood vignette draw our eyes to the food....nice try...thumbs up.
Yes F50 f1.4 is a very good lens....contrasty.

Not yet ....... I am still waiting to see how good the image color processing on the K1 is. ......whether it is similar to past Pentax DSLRs like the K5IIs ... or for that matter different from the rest of the FF DSLRs.

Used my k18 on K1. Straight from camera and the color is saturated and poping. Both photos taken at F8 to F11. At the meantime for me, 18mm should be wide enough....15mm? Hmmm....

First reptile shots...great color n detail...wide open?

Shot at wide open F/4. This lens is sharp enough that I don't hesitate to shoot at wide open most of the time...
