Note: there are lots of memosa (thorns) in that area,
so proper footware is advised.

I live in Bishan, any idea other kinds of transport?
Better still if got ppl longbang :bsmilie:
Btw, wat is the meeting time?

U can take;
- No.88 from opposite Bishan MRT,
- alight at Punggol Rd(bus-stop in front of Blk 298A, Sengkang, just before TPE)
- change to No.83, this will bring u to Punggol town.

As for where to alight, will depends on where we are meeting up.

I shot this last year, just opp punggol plaza

hi skyline, if you take 88 and change to 83, it'll take you at least 1hour with all the turning around in bishan and hougang, but it's the fastest bus route. if you can't join us in time during sunrise can always come slightly later, i believe we'll be at the long kang for a while ... if not come join us for breakfast lor :)

hey ortega, seems like you have been moving around the area for quite some time, there's a temple in construction in the direction you shot the lrt line and sunrise 'breaking' the lamp, got potential for nice silhouettes during sunrise ;)

hi zidane777, i like the mimosa shot, just that lighting and sharpness could have been better, maybe a better shot this saturday with more preparations

Nice shots but could be better

I hope that you don't mind me editing your pictures to show you what I mean.

Anyway here it is

wildflower.jpg

Tighter crop for composition and should blur away the background, picture needs more highlights.

sunrise.jpg

again more details to fill the frame, need to be slightly under exposed to saturate colour.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I should've used higher ISO value and smaller aperture to keep the whole flower in focus. There was some wind when took the shot, couldn't use too much slower speed :( But higher ISO might help.

Why dont you start a new tread for the long kang shoot,
this tread is for the sunrise shoot photos.

I will be collecting my CD today, I hope that my sunrise shots come out ...

Will post later.

3 ways:
1. shoot large size, crop in photoshop
2. close-up filter/len
3. Micro lens

Hope this help :)
