Subject looks evil:bsmilie: Nice contrasting subject and background;)

thanks, marcus. this is the 2nd time i met this subject. very odd animal with the forward leaning of the jumping legs. although evil looking, so far no harm come to me, touch wood! :sweatsm:

All are kit lens except the 3rd

the 3rd one is using which lens?
Damn.. i like the HDR pp of yours. How did you do it? Care sharing on your set up while taking and processing it?

The 3rd is by sigma 10-20
Use bracket exposure to take 3-5 pics, then use the detail enhancer from PhotomatixPro for HDR, then go back to Photoshop for contrast and watermarks:)

May i know where is this place?
1) Gamla Stan of Stockholm
2) Konigsee in Bavaria
3) Lofoten in Northern Norway
4) Berner Oberland in Switzerland
5) Matterhorn in Switzerland

They look a little like statues, yes?

Very hard to get these guys with a manual focus lens, they run too fast!

must be very hard to manually focus to shoot. nice birding shot. the first two shots abit soft.

Yeah made my life harder by doing handheld at 500mm. Have to start learning somewhere though, thanks!

Which world would u choose? The fuzzy world where uncertainty awaits? or the reality where everything is definite. But either one has the power to turn against each other...lets change the question...WHERE ARE YOU now?

Denis, this color gives the mood of 70's and 80's.

Very nice composition. Concur with Marcus, must participate in the PF contest. I support :cheergal:

just posted the same in macro forum. basically a test shoot of my vivitar 105mm that just arrived this week... wanted to make sure i got a sharp copy ;)

its a beautiful lens. build quality is awesome, focus throw is fantastic... my only complaint: weight  its nearly twice the weight of the 100mm pentax d-fa macros. takes some getting used to for handheld shots.

DOF was razor thin on this one... it was very tiny and i had to add 65mm of extension tubes to get greater than 1:1 magnification
