"Hellow, Why so Serious?"

It is a friday already. the weekend is just round the corner and it is time to rest and relax again.

found this funny fella at AMKP next to the playground. i was very intrigued by the demenour of this fly which seemed to want to tell me something. it stayed at the edge of a leaf and kept pointing its front leg at me.

master/slave flash system with plate diffuser. K20D w DFA100.

Hi guys! Just came back from Perth last month. Was there for 7 days with my friends. It was a free and easy trip. The weather was cool and nice. Its a beautiful city to visit if you're looking for a place to relax.

Nice photo from your Perth trip JJ. Thanks for sharing. The weather was cool because it is still winter time lah... still can remember Cicerellos seafood restaurant.:D

This is the non-macro telephoto version. You know I got no budget for 200mm macro lah... :nono:

Heard some good things about it... missed getting it about two years ago, so when the opportunity came along recently, LBA kicked in. Actually I can't afford a 200mm f/2.8, so this is a workable alternative. Not on most people's radar but I'm quite happy with it.

I like this. Nice color and composition
But maybe the pic will be better if the thing at the foreground is not there?? :dunno:

Thanks! I would prefer it to be there as a foreground subject.

If the pointing leg is not OFF will be great for Uncle Sam.:)

I have the M version and sitting in the dry cabinet. The M version has 6 elements, 5 groups & A version 6/6. Min focus distance 200mm for M & 190mm for A.:)

Nice scenic shots. Good memorable time for me as I spend my honey moon there 20 yrs back. Was that the swan river that you captured. ? There was also a swan river cruise then and it winter time ie about sept when we last visited.

That for sharing.

Recently bought the UWA Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6. Considered the F3.5 version but decided to save the money. This lens certainly gives a different perspective and is lots of fun. Produces great saturated colours, especially with the K10D

1. Over central Australia - the Red Centre. Unfortunately didn't have the CPL filter with me to cut out the window reflection.

2. Somewhere over the Timor Sea (I think). Blue sky & beautiful turquoise water.

3. Super white cotton ball clouds against the blue sky & blue sea.

i'm trying out something different

instead of going sharp, i decided to go the other extreme: soft

some PP to the background colours... intention was to make the flower in the middle stand out in a more "dreamy" background... like fairies in a grotto :)

can you see Tinkerbell between the petals? ;)

taken with an SMC K 85mm soft.
