yah lah.... it happens. how do u like the ones taken with the panagor 55mm that i posted?

i like the first one... the shiny fly. :) i've been struggling to catch the details on that one but always end up with blurred pix cos its so small and the reflective body always messes it up.

finally got a decent one.

the fly: the focus is good but the lighting source too high. the lower half of the body is covered with shadow.
 

Oh icic! Isn't shooting against strong backlight causing those purple fringe that he is concern? Oops, not an expert in birding, will let others do the talking, hehe

Thanks Charlie, for the suggestion. Yes, my concern is regarding shooting against strong backlight that will cause the purple fringe. As much as possible, i try not to shoot against the backlight.


Hi Kent, thanks for the link. Seems like a way to "save" those photos i have taken :thumbsup:

some old photo with the plate diffuser which i have not used for a while. a leaf hopper from bukit batok...
