Eikin, sorry to hear that you're sick but hopeful that it may really be a mistake by the jap doc. I think you should ask for a 2nd opinion. Maybe from another hospital? Or maybe you can ask your SG doctor to write you a letter of the tests done in SG and show the jap doc?

it's almost confirmed a misdiagnosis, my university's medical centre's doctor says i'm normal, but he's not a specialist so cannot revoke the previous doctor's diagnosis, i'll need to go to another hospital tomorrow for one more check

just back from ANOTHER checkup ... now i have 1 doctor who thinks i'm having TB, 1 doctor who thinks i'm free of TB, and 1 doctor who is not that sure but because there's a probability think i should follow what the first doctor says feel like a guinea pig already ... now can only wait till the next appointment next month then they'll decide the effects of the drugs ... :what: :what: :what:

Since you did mention that the med. have side effects and some of it, if you're unlucky, are serious side effects, you better check with the doctor first. Or at least ask them what are the tell tale signs are of the side effects.
