Pentax Luna New Year Promotion - K-7 for $13xx, Twin WR Kit Lenses for $439SGD!

at least let me & other k7 owners feel prestigious for 1 year can...?? ;( so early already come out with shocking deals..:cry:

but it's good to share the joy of owning a k7, hope to see the k7 population increase with the coming outings..

I bought my k-7 just after K20d price have dropped. It always happen to early adopters. Basically it's much more painful for them as price dropped down overnight.

Dropped by Pentax Service today, heard there might be another great bundle deal for K7 buyer (existing ones or future ones), for the WR kits. The prices might make those who already got the WR kit lenses jealous and angry ;)

And if you are looking for the 18-55 and 50-200 lenses right now, better wait for a couple days and see if you'd be able to get a big bargain :D

Stay tuned ...

Are you all hearing this people??? This is GREAT NEWS!!!
Darn how come I paid more for my K-7 and for my DA 50-200mm WR... seems like I'm missing the Pentax bargain biorhythms... I better not buy any Pentax gear for a while. :sticktong

don't like him. Adriana lima IS much much better, even Jackie Chan!

en........... how can canon has soooooo many actors to act like photographers?

Well, it explains why a C is that much more expensive. ;)

hope to get an update on this soon, really itching to get the K7.:sweatsm:

Seems that the price is dropping. I check with SLR revolution, they mentioned that the body for K7 is selling at 1338 include GST. Seems like a good deal.. Drooling....

$1338 including GST?

wah, tempting loh.

i just convinced myself a few weeks ago, not to look at new lens for my K100D, and to shoot more photos instead

now this offer comes along...

Thanks about this, w/ a new K7, you might get a lot more keepers. Really worth the upgrading ;)

Am wondering how many of us here have a strong gut feeling that the reason this price reduction is taking place right now is because Pentax is soon going to announce the K7's successor... i.e. this time with the K-x high ISO sensor? Need to rapidly clear up old stock first before the new announcement is made, correct?!!

So which will be better for the long term... a K7 now at its currently discounted price... or its forthcoming successor at the price the K7 was launched at? I would choose the successor with the super state-of-the-art sensor... because I do a lot of shooting at the higher ISOs.

That said, the K7 is definitely available at a killer deal for those who primarily shoot at lower ISOs. Grab them while you still can... or wait a little longer for an even better deal (most probably dual/WR kit lens offer, as per Fengwei's hint!)

At this price for the k7, even if they release a successor also buay sai hiam liao.

Not that I am greedy but if they extended the offer to all other lenses that would have been good too. The DA17-70 would be within strike range! ;)

I think technology is way too fast for me. I havent got enough shots on my k20d to justify an upgrade when k7 released. Now k7 price starts to drop already...:bsmilie:

I wish they could do that also for 10-17 fish eye... ;p
