Singapore price is about $120 if I remember the last time I asked. Cheaper to get from reputable online retailers like B&H if possible.
Hi zorrus.
The battery can be as high as 4000 baht at some shops so to get the battery for 2400 baht is a bargain for me. Actually the shop's website shows the price to be 2590 baht but the sales guy sold me cheaper. I'm certainly not complaining. I wonder how much it costs in Singapore.

The shop that I bought the battery from is called Digital2Home. Here's the link:

It's in Thai, of course. The battery LP-E6 is listed as 2590 baht.
They also have 3rd party batteries. I am using one for my 60D & it works fine so far (1 year already). But when I put this battery in the 6D, there was an error message - cannot communicate with battery. The 6D battery indicator shows battery is empty but the camera is still functional. So that's why I decided to but original battery.
Free shipping within USA. The catch is you either need someone to help you bring it back to SGP, or use a delivery service like vpost or similar. I hear some mention that vpost doesnt allow delivery of lithium batteries but ive had no issues. The battery itself costs about S$80 each.

Saving of S$400 thus but without local warranty of course.
What do you think? Is the trade off worth it?
