Hi, are you able to comment on comparisions of using 6D and your 5D3?
I have a 5D3 but really underutilize it and most of the functions I do not need them. So I am thinking to sell my 5D3 and get a 6D instead. With the spare cash I can even get a Sigma 35mm f1.4 ;p
 

I had both 6D and 5D Mark III too, for a while. Sold my 6D after testing and comparing with my new 5DIII, as i could not get consistent focus with 85L and Sigma 35mm, as compared to 5D Mark III which is consistently sharp for every shots.

Perhaps you could try it at the shop before deciding whether to downgrade to 6D. The AF of the 5DIII is really superb, not about the multiple cross type, but the consistent focus in the middle area.

tried out the 6D with tamron 24-70..... hmm... not so easy to hold.... hand got painful after a while.... did try with the 5D3... slight better... haaaa... dont know, maybe use to holding Nikon DSLR........ dont know to jump into 5D3 or not.... the AF points are the plus point... ;)

The only annoying thing about my 50D was that after 30 minutes of use, I got a hot pixel showing up in every photo. It is the only camera that I experienced this with. Other than that, the 50D was a good camera over-all.

Anyway, I think you'll see a big difference between the 50D and 6D. Full frame cameras have a slight edge in colour, contrast and over-all IQ. Enjoy your camera once you get it!

haha yup waiting for my 6d to arrive probably by friday. thing is i got too used to FF from my brother who uses 5d3 haha thats y i decided to move up from aps-c. Hopefully i don't notice that much of a difference in terms of performance (most worried about AF accuracy) haha.

Your getting from tecno?Be prepared to get your camera delivered slighty longer than they promised.But it worth while cause it cheaper than elsewhere.Their delivery depend on the shipment overseas.Anyway they will update you on the items arrival.
 

quite sian techo dun have canon 35mm f2 IS.
not a lot of places carry this new lens wor.

hmm when i called them 2 days ago they said their target collection date was friday. hopefully they can make it lol. usually whats the max time they took to deliver?

and yup i coudnt find a cheaper deal elsewhere haha. decided to get from them cus its the same price as those in B&S.

My was about 8-9 days.But they do keep you informed about the arrival of the items:)
 

its worth the wait buying from techno. save a lot. anyway, most of us don't shoot every single day.
 

How much u paid for 6d at tecno? Last week allan and techno price for 6d only different $200++. Some more if you buy from alan you can claim gifts from canon like crumler bag, dry box and lightroom + canon warranty. So I was hold back to wait for few more months. ;)

$200++ can buy you 40mm stm, 50mm f1.8, some blower, cards, blackrapid, screen protector, and many items. TG pays for you when u repair at canon svc ctr, dont 4get. of coz some owners prefer buying local sets. i respect that

yea i got it at 3157. Quite cheap considering local sets cost around 3.45k.... got a -$300 off with their local shop warranty as well (not really an issue as canon QC is usually very good)
