totally agree, I came from 600d i know the concern of high ISO noise back then, so starting when using 6D i also keep within iso 800..
After like 6 month of usage then I start using up till 12800, just use the native ISO range as those 1/3 ISO range has some loss of dynamic range when u want to bring back highlight/shadow in lightroom.
