Juz kidding. Well, use the camera and your equipment more and you will not have too wory about fungus that much.
Remember, a dry cabinet does not 100% promise you fungus free. Too long of still air in the equiptment is not good.

just came back from MS colour. bought a hoya 77 SHMC UV for my sigma70-200. now all my lenses have protection:cheergal:
at first, what i had in mind was just an HMC. From what i saw from the Others thread, a hoya HMC 77 UV cost $50. the SHMC wasn't stated, so i figured that it is pretty expensive. When i went to mscolour, they told me the SHMC cost 69.thinking that HMC and SHMC shouldn't have much of a difference, i decided to save $19 for the cheaper HMC. however, that guy told me the HMC cost $62, only a mere 7 dollars cheaper. so i went for the SHMC in the end. something i dun understand: so far, my other two second-hand lenses came with filters. both are hoya HMC. but if the price differs by so little, why do they still use HMC but not SHMC?

no lah. just need to get my basic equipment set up. so far, only spent $3297. right now, only left with a Lowepro ST 400AW, and an extra NP400 batt. then the leftover would be used to buy a VC7D if i get a good deal. so expenditure just hovering about my 4000 budget.

heh heh...today took my whole system to test in school. was taking two events. student counsiler investiture and some physics lecture by a nodel prize winner. was covering with my pres(that anti-KM guy), and shibin(who coped my 70-200 2.8 for the whole investiture:what: ) . some overall comments:
-my whole system isn't really that loud, did not used the canon backup(which i took from teacher incase the grinding sound is too loud). but when they are praying, AF with my 18-50 is a nono:nono: .
-sigma 18-50:seems to have some problems when focusing wide. at 18mm, when the 7D fixed on the focus, i zoomed it to 50 and noticed that it is slightly(actually quite alot) out of focus. i have to focus at 50mm then zoom back down to get a extremely clear image. checked with some users, this lens is parfocal.
-seriously need a camera bag. was holding 3 bags today, kept using up lots of space in bus. 1 hand 70-200, the other with 7D+18-50, and flash cannot stuff in them, have to put in sch bag.:sweat: . my hands still hurts.
-DUN BUY KINGSTON ELITE PRO 1024MB CF CARD. was shooting away happily. investiture ended. browsed through my photos...........ONLY GOT 21 PHOTOS?! my teacher quickly brought it to his com, he can only see 21 photos, plus alot of rubbish folders:cry: . but luckily, the "no of photos left" on the lcd screen shows a small number, like there are still photos in there. now trying to see if i can use any recovery software to use. hopefully can recover.
