Based on the information provided by Panasonic Japan, I afraid there isn't any English menu for Japan model. It is unlike Olympus.

I saw and handled a black GX7 during a run event yesterday where panasonic was a sponsorer. I asked a panasonic staff if that was GX7 and if i could handle it for a while, she replied that i knoe my stuff.
The build quality is gd so is the handling. Vf is sharp but the view is smaller than oly VF4.

Will it be poisonous enough for u to jump into it? Think its not easy to exceed the specifications of the VF4. I mean like, gawd, look at the size of VF4 compared to VF2.

Not really... As i nv fancy camera from panasonic.. Still prefer the retro style from oly and the vf4 and also i have fuji x100s with hybrid vf. But to be honest, the build is gd. If ppl considering upgrading from GX1, or pen series, can consider this.

Panasonic has never provided full international warranty like Olympus so I wouldn't bet on having warranty for an import set.

And yes, though the GX7 displays a huge leap of improvement from the bodies Panny has designed so far , I'm now more inclined towards keeping my EP5 and VF4 combo over the GX7 (other reason being money no enough la)

I think I go for E-M1 for sure although I liked GX7's "ranger-look".
