Robin Wong's blog says launch on Sep 21 in Malaysia. He has also joined Olympus Malaysia
Lol. I'm not surprised! So will his future blog posts be "neutral" ? I think not.
I have always, always been an admitted Olympus fanboy, and I took every opportunity to show that.
Up this thread as it seems like everyone else focus is on the em1 now and forgot about the soon (or delay..) availability of this cam.. lol..
When is it coming btw?!
Just read a very in depth review of the GX7 from Amateur photographer 14Sep 2013 issue.
Do you read the physical copy? I'm waiting to get the emagazine on my ipad via iTunes but the latest version is 7sep edition. Sigh
So far saw a guy selling pre-order in ebay sg. $1500 for body + 20mm. Stated availability as 21 sep or later.
That's quite reasonable I guess. The lens alone can resell for at least $350.
Anyone came across any reviews relating how its IBIS perform?
Currently holding EPL1 and playing around with legacy lens.
If the GX7's IBIS performs better than EPL1's then I do need to go hungryfor two months just to save enough for EM1
Some reviews says the ibis is just like the ep3/epl5
Dun mind sharing the URL to those reviews?
Have tried googled it but always gotten those reviews that merely states that it has IBIS but not test it...
Please read at the bottom of this URL about the comparison of OMD EM5 and Lumix GX7 about IBIS thingy. Clearly, the winner goes to OMD EM5 in term of shooting stills and videos with 5-axis IBIS. UNLESS you have 12-35mm and 35-100mm F2.8 which are built in OIS, you can rest assured these lens would work flawlessly with GX7.
