how much you bought it? bought at where?

i bot the lens cap for 46mm for $8 AP SLS, i think quite exp..but have to buy..no choice

anyway original lens cap for LX3 is less than 46mm coz the inner diameter for the ring on LX3 is bigger. Hence the original lens cap wd not fit the 46mm filters..

nope, haven got the time to try yet..will try this weekend..but i only got UV filter, doesnt make a difference isn't it?

my initial purpose for adapter and filter is to protect the protruding lens from fingerprints, but i gut the LC1 Lens cap does a good job so far..

i'm not sure... tat's why ask you whether you tested already ;p

ur lens adaptor well fit ur lc1 lens cap + lx3 protruding lens?

Im using a 3rd party 52mm adaptor with UV filter. No vignetting at all, guess the original one shld not have the problem too.

no prob with vignetting using the original LA4 lens adapter...

LA4 + 46mm to 52mm step up ring + 52mm UV filter.

You can take a look at Mass sales thread.

Here's a link from a B+W seller. There are other sellers too. If the thread size is not shown, you may want to PM them for more info.

life span i am not sure but i guess as long you take good care of your filters, it should last you for a long long time. yes, the glass is easier to clean compared to hoya. i heard my fren tried cleaning it for half an hour and still can't get the spot clean. you may want to see in other threads that people commented about different brands of filters..

i using the LC1 now, i bot the adapter for future use, i dun use them together la..haha..

so if need more filters i will bring a bigger bag with all the barang barang, for now i am happy with juz the LC1..

Hi Guys,

Been surfing around the LX3 threads and note that some users are complaining about the dull colours of the LX3. I'm experiencing the same thing and i'm wondering whether there are ways to compensate.

My main problem is that the colours always look great on screen but when i transfer them to the comp they're not vibrant enough i feel.

Thus far i've tried to shoot in dynamic and vivid modes for portraits - but even then the colours that I yield are still kind of dull and not rich enough. i've also tweaked the EV and the LCD screen (to show the dimmest setting) but still not yielding the results i'm hoping.

Anything else I can do other than edit for saturation in via photoshop?

mabbe you like to check your cam's saturation setting for the different modes used.
