i think the best was the TwinMOS 2GB 140x CF card for $149. Their support centre so near SLS so i snapped it up the moment i saw their booth.

haha..my advice is if you don't need it now then don't buy it for the sake of good price. coz it will be much cheaper later.

not the BBB MTL syndrome? :bsmilie: it was an upgrade to the existing piece of 512mb card i use. that's about it. i think more importantly is that you make sure whatever you get, you're going to use it frequently. anything in the end, given the right amount of time, is going to drop in price anyway

haha yeah i know wat you mean.. aiya look at it this way. you getting the prize money by selling it at HWZ shld get good price for it since new.
if you didn't buy at correct time you think you will get that lucky draw meh? you are still lucky lah..

Went down yesterday and got some 1gb CF cards. The price is really attractive!!!:thumbsup:

How come everyone can't find the princess??? I managed to see her 3 times within 30 minutes, and at both levels as well. She's walking around with another lady, distributing some stuff to the visitors. Although it's crowded, it's hard to miss her though..... She's quite stunning in person, I'll have to admit.:sweat: Caught her on 'A Light Affair' on TV5, wonder what's her dream camera........

Expected more from the Canon booth, as there's no lens on sale. Found out that the kit lens that come with the 30D is still the EF-S 18-55mm....:sticktong How I wish it's the 2.8 IS version.....:bigeyes:

Transcend 120X CF at Best Bargain. Sell until no more but every now & then got replenish stock. Depends on your luck, you can start hanging around there for the day...

If any of you is intending to get any Apple products, you guys can visit the Apple booth and look for my friend, Flynn. But make sure the counter you go to is the one by the store at Wheelock Place. Cos from what I know, there's a reseller there who's from Funan, I think. I think the counters for the Wheelock Place Apple store is nearer to Acer (not sure, so you better double-check). But my friend only in-charge of the ipod section, so if you are looking for mini, nano, shuffle or what, you can look for him.

From what I know (since I also worked for Apple sales before), Apple doesnt have any price discounts for their products. They only give out free gifts for purchases.
