May wanna try Clifford Pier area. My fren said the view is good and after the event, easier to leave, unlike Esplanade bridge kena jammed.
snowspeeder said:Maybe you're right. I arrived at the sheares bridge at around 6.40 pm and the best parts of the bridge were already taken. The other more popular spots are bound to be taken first much earlier.
Perhaps those who are joining us should consider 4.30 pm instead.

I like to relax, view and enjoy the scenery, hopefully the weather is fine.
Snowspeeder, do you have spare tripod? Pass it to me and I will secure one space for you.
During the 1st firework, we manage to sqeeze in and I setup tripod side by side with Holeinone, snowspeeder. T16 and DCA were on the other side (about 10~15m away from me) due to breakway and crowd.
Hey, Sony brothers, why not we group ourselves together, I notice if we setup our tripod side by side close together, and with our bags behind the tripod, no one will be able to cut through us.
United and camp together and no enemy will inflirate through our line of defence. Just my suggestion.
T16 said:Hi,
I could join you at the spot around that time, will also bring a picnic mat to chop sitting area.
I would suggest that those who can't make it early to pass their tripod to us the day before so that we could help them chop place.
Last week, I actually chase away a few couples who try to act blur and squeeze into my spot which I reserved for my family.![]()

The D70 doesn;t have a wired cable release. Only one that works on infra. Nikon did this on purpose. ;(
