Fireworks This Coming Sunday - 15 Aug

Can't believe this horrible smoke quickly enveloped part of the fireworks

After the show, the smoke was all over the bridge and fullerton...there were even small pieces of paper from the firework cannister falling from the sky!!

what is your setting? Any processing? The light from the lamp post is well expose.

I was late and there was not much space around there. And also with a friend. So i have to looked for free slots further away. haha... :bsmilie:

So you were walking toward the Esplanade after the show right? With your 828 on your chest. :bigeyes: ..heeheeee....If you noticed me.. I was standing on the side bench to avoid being knock by the crowds.

Sorry guys. I couldn't join in because of the rain. My wife cannot kenna water, wind, etc. So I decided not to take the risk.

what is your setting? Any processing? The light from the lamp post is well expose.

The setting was at ISO64, F8.0 and 7 secs.

Since the zoo outing (on a weekday) is only in October as T16 can take leave by then (what about MC?), we could also arrange some other outings in between. Thought of a few places as suggestions:

1) Bird Park
2) Mandai Orchid Garden
3) Boat/Clarke Quay by night
4) Pulau Ubin

dunno about now, but i think still the same way...

last time always go camping, den we go changi village that side, take the boat from the pier, ask around the person will tell u which 1 go pulau ubin... need confirmation on this...

fyi, i think you can drive & park there as well... cos i dunno wat bus exactly goes there...

At the very least your shots are better than mine. For some reason, my timing is not good enough to press on the shutter the right moment. So here's my story for the day:

We've all seen you posted your face. Well I suppose this is your back view with your tripod...

Actually this precious piece of land that T16 is sitting is very difficult to hold.
At 5.40pm, we secure the exclusive perimeter of no fly zone.
But by 6pm, 6.10pm, 6.25pm, 6.35pm. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie Coy all being kenna attack inch by inch for all direction.
Slowly,we are force to move inward bit by bit.
By 6.45pm, we have to withdrawn from the bench as we found ourselves over stretch the perimeter of defence.
By 7.15pm, we lost 40% of what we have occupied, from left, from right, from behind.
