Some question on 7D shutter button. It's doesn't have the tactile feel like the 40D. Is that normal? Has Canon redesign the shutter button mechanism?
Hey 7D Owners, does your camera's build in speedlite master allow you to do 2nd curtain sync for off camera flashes? Or is 2nd curtain still limited to hotshoed speedlites? Thanks.
Just bought the battery grip and the shutter button has the same non tactile feel. So it's normal. Gotta get use to the new feel. "Misfired" a couple of times already. Haha!
Argh, Canon really has a lot to catch up when it comes to SpeedlitesIt not allow 2nd curtain sync and high speed for off camera flashes![]()
agreed.. put @ high continous mode, cant really feel the buttons @ 1st, keep getting 2 shots @ once.
Anyone got any screen protector to intro for 7D? price and place to buy?
Isn't the cover on the LCD a "screen protector" already? Isn't there also an anti reflective coating on it too?
wat cover? got cover 1 meh?
What you touch is actually the LCD cover... and not the actual lcd. (It's also replacable)
from dpreview.com,
"In order to protect the liquid crystal from scratches the Clear View II LCD features a hardened glass cover material."
OIC... I thot u are talking some protector like Nikon...
to replace the protecting film is easier then the harden cover.
indeed. easier n cheaper.
We are actually protecting the hard cover from be scratches, haha I am a dumb I even put protective film on top LCD panel... I will heart pain if I see lines on LCD, I admit I am like a girl haha
dosent we all do the same? putting screen protectors on mobile phones? its also a hard case. well, that few dollars spend on the protectors give us a piece of mind, so y not spend it? =p
There's a firmware update version 1.0.9. My 7D comes with firmware version 1.0.7.
http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eos7d/firmware.html
Firmware Version 1.0.9 incorporates the following fixes.
1.Improves AF accuracy during Live View shooting.
2.Corrects a phenomenon where in rare instances, movie images shot by the camera may exhibit abnormal colors.
3.Corrects a phenomenon that at certain timings, the shutter cannot be released when the camera's built-in flash or an external Speedlite is used for shooting.
Yeah - sorry for the "honest mistake" - have edited it.expensive prices in audio hse, but i think you got the kit prices mixed up. how can the 18-135 kit cost more than the 15-85 kit haha....
