Was there gst?

You should always assume there will be GST in case you get disappointed because I can tell you it really depends on your luck. I have bought things from other online sites and sometimes I get charged and sometimes I don't even though I bought things from the same site (the items are all more than SGD 400 of course for GST to be levied).

And this has nothing to do with Daiso or any other online seller, assuming they declare the real value. It is the Singapore Customs and I guess it depends on whether the ones on duty are thorough or not.

Just saw some reviews of the cameras shipped by qoo10, daiso seller. One em10 had a shutter count of 207 despite being out of the box. Another had a shutter count of 79. Is that normal?

I guess that's normal... Must consider some or most cameras undergo testing before they are shipped to market... Testing might be by sampling so there are units with 0 shutter count... IMHO

This is perfectly normal. They need to test your set before selling it to you. If it's shutter count zero, then something is wrong.

My set from daiso shutter count is 258...

For the info, Daiso declined my set price is $385 for custom, so maybe I don't need to pay GST because of this

i have recently taken videos on my em10 with panasonic 20mm f1.7 and the focusing is really bad. it is constantly re focusing with setting to continuous focus.

will olympus 17mm f1.8 take better video since i read focusing is very fast with em10?

or should i get other lens? priority is to take decent video and great photos.

Turn off continuous focus or use manual focusing for video.

Can be from 4 days to 10 days according to feedback history. Depend on luck and korea holiday bah. Mine was 4 days and delivery was a sunday.

Yes.. and also the possibility of cosmetic damage as had feedbacks by some buyers before. The risk hence is subjective to the saving compared to local purchase.

IMHO, you won't go round with either lens. I have used the 45mm for both Street and taking pictures of my daughter.

However, there were times whereby I would prefer the 25mm due to the lack of space (when indoors) and when shooting on the street.

At the end of the day, it really depends on your shooting style but I would recommend the 25mm if you want one do it all lens..

Funan the few reputable shops we all know.
I got mine for $41x back then , a few months ago.
