I am here everyday .... just to keep my hope up!

The wait is killing...

The D90 represents a class of camera that doesn't fully provide all features and capabilities that the x00 cameras do. Nikon's philosophy for feature implementation on the D80/D200 is going to be repeated on the D90/D300 combo. It's the old 80/20 rule, and 12/14 bits is in the 20 side of things.

I wonder will there be a kit lens for it as well..
:)

Will definitely have a kopi session when it is here in Sg.

May i know when is this year Photokina held on? :)

the noise control had better beat d300. lol. for me, hack with features, iso ability will kick everything out of the window

notice the new kit lens

18-105mm VR

Now I'm a bit wary when zoom and VR comes together.. ;p Maybe that's why they din put VR in the 17-55/2.8DX. ;p

Same or lower, why would they kill their own higher end product, after all D300 is not discountinued and the D90 is to replace the D80 which is lower segment than the D300.

The line up will be :

D90 - D300 - D700 - D3 - D??

Don't be paranoid lah, my 70-200f2.8 VR has been with me for years and used extensively and yet no problem. A single swallow does not make a summer.

The high ISO noise control should at least be same as D300 lah since in a year's time the D300 replacement will up the ante again.

Anyway, this D90 is really exciting. It will be tough to decide for buyers to go for D300 or D90.
