I got both my Nikon D90 kit and Canon EOS 50D today yeah.

Nikon D90 Kit at $1650 (with 4gb SD card and reader) and Canon EOS 50D at $1860 (with 4Gb CF card and EOS bag). Both include GST alraedy.

So happy.

price is similar, but D90 comes with the lens.. so you can't really compare at these prices.. D90 body would prob cost about $1300-1400 range?

Actually I meant after yesterday... Edited my post as well. Supply vs demand, demand going up and supply going down, so theoretically speaking higher asking prices could have been set...

Some shops are selling as high as S$1888...

So is it advisable to wait for awhile first, then buy the cam?

Well, apparently someone got it at 1650 but we don't know where, and I'm guessing that's probably a stable price say two or three weeks later. I wouldn't expect it to drop any further in the near future...

Bro, yesterday when I bought mine, the shop left only 6 sets...and I bought 3 sets. Some caucasian bought one. So in theory they left only 2 sets ;p

I think you got me wrong, I was saying the D90 BO (Body Only), not kit set. Challenger has some many kt sets, but at $1888 with 4GB, bag, tripod, cleaning kit...

Ya, the problem is they do not sell the BO alone... else i would have just bought the body. BTW, I have added you as my Flickr contact. Some nice photos there
