Selling mine 1 week old kit.. Look under buy n sell
wow, you are the first person to sell D7k in the BnS . . . why ?
The previous one was closed down. People, lets hope no OT this time round. Lets keep the news going.![]()
I wonder if the hot pixels will not be that bad if shooting using native ISO?
Anyone can give it a try? Cheers...
Please keep us update.
I've emailed to Nikon for more info about Hot pixel and the solution.
But I guess I'll just send in my camera directly.
I think u better send in.
They will not know whether pixel remapping can correct the hot pixel or not by only pictures without the camera on their hand..
I am surprise Tat they said I am the first and only person who sent in?
Anyway... Looks like Nikon service altitude is good.
Just came back from iPhoto minutes ago. They offered me 1700$ for the body only, totally including GST. and a 8G SD
So. just contact them Remand who is a nice gentlemen.
Amazing body. but battery is low. so charging now.
I also call ms color. they quote me 1800 cash price, so sad. and recommend me to buy kit set. this is a trap?
iPhoto is good. that is body only set with Nikon Singapore stamp. but I found it is listed as " D7000 HK set" in the warrant card. is it hongkong set ?
Anyway, the body is so hot. And i can exchange another one once I found hot spot.
Hi ziggurat, did you manage to confirm whether the iPhoto set is a grey/HK set or a local set? Believe grey sets do not have local warranty.
Updates for whoever is shopping for the D7000: TK Foto and iPhoto are already out of stock. AP quoted me $1,800 as well for body only.![]()
I indeed spotted hot pixel but didn't really go and 'count' or 'examine' them in details. I guess tonight will be the night.
If I believe that it'll hinder the photos I'm about to take, I'll seriously have them re-consider telling me the hot pixel is normal :<
Ok I'm no Nikon employee, but I was under the impression that long exposure noise, i.e. hot pixels, is unavoidable?
Perhaps it's a matter of degree though.
