That is true if you card slot 2 "Role played" setup is either "Overflow" or "Backup", i.e. in either of this two modes the image when playback will have a label at the bottom right "Fine+raw" and when you delete the image both jpeg and raw will be deleted together, however, it will not work in "RAW Slot 1 - JPEG Slot 2" mode

Nothing in the manual.

So far I've not managed to pick this up from the manual yet... But I wonder if you delete the raw files, won't the jpeg goes with it?

Anyone started to see accessories for D7k? Like extra batteries, camera armour (thought of gaffering the body, but then looking at my D70 which is a little sticky from the gaffer tape I used, decided to try some other products, but if there is none, might have to gaffer it till something else comes up), lcd screen protector, remote control, etc...

Hmm, ML-L3 wireless remote can be used - I think I have that somewhere, time to look for it.

I want to really have a try of this nice d7000. can anyone tell me where in town preferably have you guys seen test display sets for people to try out?

You could try out at NSC (Nikon Service Center)

Weird... most likely an overlook bah, maybe they'll fix it in the next firmware update. Btw I've not tried it yet

Hi two questions asking bros here...

I was quoted $1700 for body only but before GST... you guys paid $1700 before or after GST?

I was told that Body Only sets is not out yet. Even if I agree with $1700 before GST, they can only give me the Kit set... true?

1.7k is after GST, but CASH only. Body only not out yet, they simply take out the len and sell you the body.

Just came back from iPhoto minutes ago. They offered me 1700$ for the body only, totally including GST. and a 8G SD
So. just contact them Remand who is a nice gentlemen.
Amazing body. but battery is low. so charging now.
I also call ms color. they quote me 1800 cash price, so sad. and recommend me to buy kit set. this is a trap?
iPhoto is good. that is body only set with Nikon Singapore stamp. but I found it is listed as " D7000 HK set" in the warrant card. is it hongkong set ?
Anyway, the body is so hot. And i can exchange another one once I found hot spot.

hmm.... this is interesting... so are their set hongkong sets? does that mean its the same as me buying from HK??

Don't think so.. It has Nikon Singapore Pte Ltd on the warranty under distributor, while the Hong Kong ones will probably have "Nikon Hong Kong" in that field.

does this hk set will still cover warranty here nikon singapore ??although there is a stamp of nikon singapore?? please help im planning to buy there also body only at iphoto ??
