the $19XX with 18-135 is a major turn off imho. body is almost a steal at $12XX, i was planning to pair it with a nice tamron 17-50. Another alternative i'm looking at is shipping the body from china via my contact who goes there monthly. SGD11XX with sd card and a couple of neat gifts, plus warranty in china for 2-5 years depending on the distro/shop heck i think i'll do that local stores don't seem very much interested in selling it anyway these days. there's no stock for the kit with 18-55 in case anyone's interested too. AP, SLRR, OP all state they don't know when stocks will come in. Anyway i guess im to blame also for taking so long to make up my mind.

Yea, OP, SLR and AP quoted me 18xx last week wednesday but last Friday on tt very day I wanted to buy I called again to ask, AP and OP still quoted me same at 18xx but difference is they are oos, OP both body only and kit lens set oos, AP kit lens set oos but still got body only set, SLR body only set oos but got kit lens set, body only slr qoute me 12xx and kit lens 19xx. If I'm not wrong slr qouted me 1985/1975.

OP's eddy told me stocks will arrive most probably earliest after cny.

To summarize things up here's the prices and stocks avialiablility I got last Friday

AP: [body = 12xx] [body+18-135 = 18xx (oos)]

OP: [body = 12xx (oos)] [body+18-135 = 18xx (oos)]

SLR: [body = 12xx (oos)] [body+18-135 = 19xx]

Damn..... should I just grab the Body +18-135...the range is good for walk around... but my concern is I use mainly for events and my normal range is 17-50 range and f.28 will be nice cause mainly indoor or nite shots..... and at $18xx... like no more promo price leh.... alamak....

you misunderstood lar bro... what I meant was if sell the lens to you at higher price, I win you lose... you wouldn't buy.... I sell the lens to you low... you win I lose.... I wouldn't sell.... so this type of deal no win win lar....

If lets say the body is $12xx and they bundle the lens special price of $14xx..... the price diff between body and with kit lens not high, easier to cut a win win deal..... :love grin:

Anycase, I am also checking out other system as well.... but got to wait for the body to come so can do a meaningly comparison.... need to touch touch to have a feel before deciding.... :lovegrin:
