Wow...new lens....OMG...i don't even have a single cent anymore...man....just aiming for my 580exII at the end of the year....haha....24-105 needs to wait till next year...how i wish i had enough money for a 24-105, 17-55, 10-22 and a 580exII....i'll the happiest boy in town...haha..

imo you'll be getting more range with the 24 - 105. But you'll be loosing the 2.8. I'm also upgrading to a backpack. Airport accelaration from think tank.

Get the 24-70 f2.8L for your walkaround, a great lens, if you don't mind the weight. :thumbsup: It is much faster & sharper than the 24-105 f4L.

For wideangle, you can't go wrong with the 10-22 f3.5-4.5. The best UWA lens there is for the 450D. :thumbsup:

LOL....not really...my hands can't really sit still even how hard i try. It's a condition i have ever since, so for you, a simple picture may be easy to take, for me, it becomes much harder, because my hands keep vibrating. I still do try to use without IS at times.

haha yeah actually IS is one of the first thing i look for in a lens too.. dun wanna rely too much on it but yeah my hands are damn unsteady also.. need lots of training... sigh

You all need to learn the art of caressing :love2:. For me I will be going FF soon, so all my lenses are going towards there. Different tastes i guess.

I wish to get myself a tamron 17-50 mm F2.8 only.
But the economy is not that good now, hmm
Must control myself again for not over-spending too much.

I think that they are for different usage purpose.
55-250mm IS lens is a good combination with your kit lens.
28-105mm is a walkaround lens but it might be too tight for crop body as 28*1.6 is about 45mm.
