Need to check on 430EXII flash. Tested it at CP-Marina today. The refresh rate is very fast. Nice set.

Is the max shuttle speed at 1/200? How to make it faster? Planning to get one before my trip to HK.

I am now using the 430EXII now.
The 4 pieces of GP encyko batteries can last for more than 800 shoots.
The refresh rate is very fast also.
Been used it for 2 weeks already.
So far so good, I am loving it.

$450 seems to be too expensive.
Try to bargain more.

i believe you can sync til 250th of a sec without high sync on. Anyway you already know how to get a higher sync speed, and I've already added you to the list.

I think that it is about 1/200s for 450D without high sync.
I have tried that few times.
It is solved only when high sync on with lesser power.
But I seldom use flash faster than 1/200s.
So, it is not a problem for me.

Sure? weird 430EX on my 450D syncs max at 250th a sec, Likewise the 580. They changed the max sync speed on the 430EXII?

430 can only swing to the 90 to the left whereas 580 180 left right... much better for bounce... but still 430 good for beginner like me...

You guys are right, sorry lol it does sync at 1/200 max. haha. :embrass:. Seems like when i use my triggers there isn't a capped sync speed, but 250th is the max it will go, anything over will be too fast, until i put it to high sync that is.
