Anyone out there got a recommendation for a decent tripod (on a budget) that would suit out 450D? With so many cheap types of tripods out there..hard to tell which is worth looking at and which to just forget about. Thanks!

the design are similiar to Gitzo but from china maker.

I think many of us also not happy ...get new camera = BBB virus = very painful.

I am still bleeding..no chance yet to go out and shoot but already spend alot :bsmilie:

Apart from the camera, I got the 50mm f/1.8 and the 55-250mm f/4-5.6 lenses and a dry cabinet. Still hunting for a camera bag and a tripod.

I have not yet bought my dry cabinet and most likely will buy it by end of this month.
I am also interested to get myself a 430EXII for indoor shoot...
Try hard to avoid the BBB virus....;p

BBB ... be careful lol .... i saw one of the thread selling the benord or something tripods looks good and not too ex ..

Got a benro from there also. So far no problems although there is talk about the quality of the ballhead, however I find it sufficient for me.

Thanks mrc0w, I actually used a 28 - 105mm with a raynox DCR250 attachment for those macro shots. I bought it from a thread here at $115 dollars, If im not wrong there are people selling it in the classifieds section if you're interested.

Thanks JP, i was using the 1740L for the fireworks, it was actually my first time taking fireworks. glad u like them
