hi there guys!
I'm new to ClubSNAP, and I got my 450D about 2 weeks before Comex cos I wanted to bring it with me on a trip out to Lang Tengah island, Trengganu... and I'm loving the camera more every day! Am totally new to dSLR-dom, so I've got tons to learn from the pros ard here
btw, what's this Canon marathon about?

Infact I think Canon Rebel Xsi Club should organise a meet up for lens test (either personal lens or rent lens).. If you all keen to know what lens to buy / plan to buy.. because I myself got a problem " which lens to buy" when I got my 450D....
Hahaha.. But just my suggestion.

sounds like a nice suggestion. a get to know session before the actual photomarathon outing.
I second this also.
It is a nice suggestion and would be nice if we can share the lens knowledge by this kind of gathering.

It is a nice suggestion and would be nice if we can share the lens knowledge by this kind of gathering.
This is what i'm facing when I thinking on which lens to buy..So end up I've borrow or rent some lens for trying.. but alone trying or learning is not so fun that is what i feel . hahaha..wish that you all wont end up like me... lol.
Also sometime read up too much, listening to too many opinion and asking too many times the same question is still not sure which lens is suit your style.

it actually depends on what type of photography you are looking into. potraits, landscape, macro etc..once you have decided your theme photography then u can start to ask the experts and gurus specializing in that particular field on the types of lens to use. and of course your budget counts too. once you have that desired lens, post ur photos in cs and the gurus will be more than willing to help correct ur settings and techniques..juz my 2 cents worth of thoughts....
