Anyone of you face the same problem as me?
I feel like it is hard to handle the 50mm f1.8 lens well with the small grip.
It is still ok for me to handle the kit lens as I can put my left hand at the kit lens.
But for 50mm F1.8, I still struggle to get a better handle.
Will the battery grip help to improve the handling?
Anyone can help to verify?
For 50mm F1.8, I find it very difficult to get a decent shot with shutter speed lower than 1/30s.
How do you guys think about that?

Yes I do have the same problem with you. hard to handle the 50mm f1.8..... also without IS.. I find it hard to have a sharp picture using handheld and under low light enviro...

But if you use tripod... :bsmilie: is excellent with such a price range lens...

Yup, I agree with that also.
50mm F1.8 lens is really a excellent lens for such cheap price.
Somemore, I got that free from the extended warranty during COMEX08. ;p
So, it is really worth for that money.

actually i agree with you cos i face the same problem... with gd lightings this is a fantastic lens for the price. but somehow i struggle to get gd pics sometimes due to handshake... now i really appreciate IS on a lens. haha... but it could be due to my skill la... =P need to brush up my technique

p/s: can add in my nick to the club? thanks!

Actually I am quite suprised by how much shake can be captured...Next to get is a good tripod or a monopod.

just registered for the canonmarathon anyway, will be back in singapore by then ! >_0

Actually, perhaps getting an external flash would be far more useful to prevent blur from handshake. How often would you bring your tripod around? It's a lot more cumbersome to have to fix your camera on it compared to hand holding.

paperseal ! come update my name ! i shall give up waiting... it's alrdy 2.13 now in au, time for bed !

Ya I agree as well for using external flash to compensate for the IS...
But anyhow I feel more practice surely can help on handling problem.

I think tripod is better than monopod. As i try using monopod before..is not so user friendly or maybe I'm still not use to it.
I still can see have the shake problem due to no 3 support base (tripod)....

update liao la aiyo:heart:

So can go to sleep la....:bsmilie:
