Canon 18-200mm F3.5-5.6 IS

The edge btw the building and the sky looks strange. Suddenly lighter than the rest of the sky. Is it due to PP or the CPL?

That is due to when HDR post-processing is overdone a bit too much.

My bad as the red really did catch my attention in the last shot which seems like red saturation done :bsmilie:.

Nonetheless, your shots have all been great. In fact, your thread is a great learning material for me as I really sux at shoot landscape and your landscapes are good.

Thanks, but my forte is not taking landscape shoots.. Didn't expect that there was a NKF event (red shirt) that early morning. :bsmilie:

Most likely it is due to the HDR than CPL, didn't want to use PS to DI the photo... :)

It was raining heavily that day and I arrive just in time to take shots, unfortunately I have no time/chance to fine-tune my lighting and attach the vertical grip. Saw a lot of bros using "big guns" (F2.0 & F2.8 lens) standing in front of me taking this event.

Dun worry about the big guns. Your pics are more than ok.

I have seen many images by some of those big gunners ... trust me... many of them look like ****.

Have more preparation time before taking this series, hence I was able to adjust my lighting and avoid a hash shadow and get better skin tone compared to the previous series.

Been trying to test a macro shot and see the bokeh effect, this photo was taken when I was taking the "Little Guilin".

Seems like your aperture is pretty small at f8 or f10? You may want to try a bigger f stop at probably f6.3, then set manual focusing point and subject to one of the flowers ;). Overall, the composition and the colors are nice.
