I very recently bought a 28/2 ZF and it also has purple fringing issues with some photos at 2.8 and even 5.6! I suppose that this has to be accepted as normal for this product.

Indeed the photo was taken at 2.8 with a D3. I made some tests this morning and from F4 it's almost normal again. I have used the 50/2 ZF extensively and never had any purple fringing issue so far! Thank you for the feed back.

I bought 100/2 ZF today and noticed that it creates serious purple fringing at the edge of roofs and buildings and some cable become purple!This is most visible in the parts of the photo that are far away. What do you think? Is this normal for this lens? Do I have a bad sample?

Hello everybody from a new member. I use a D3 and my current AF-S Micro Nikkor 60/2.8 doesn't satisfy me for portrait photography and medium to long distances shots. I would like to know if the ZF 50/2 is suitable for general photography and mostly for portaiture? Thank you for your feed back.
