alternatively, u can view ur images on ur PC using Nikon Viewer... by doing so, u can see all the EXIF data (even which lens u used will also be shown)

that's because D70 EXIF is 2.1 and most viewer is 2.2 brought this to Nikon attention but got no reply... :(
